Cream eyeshadow?

Here’ an interesting question I was asked recently:-

Q: I’m nearly ready to place my order and as you were so helpful last time I was hoping I could pick your brain again.
I notice you do Grimas eyeshadow (powder) however I am after a cream eye shadow. Would the 60ml cream make up be ok for eyeshadow?
Also do you have any blusher as when I looked the eye and rouge all I could see was eye shadows.
Looking forward to your response.

A: Yes, you can use cream makeup for the eyes. It’s common to do it for
stage makeup, especially where you are using a cream base.  You only
need a small amount.

Cream makeup comes in bright colours as well as skin tones

60ml is way too much. 15ml is plenty and you get
more choice of colours in the smaller size. Of course, you will need some transparent powder to set the cream makeup too.

There are Grimas eyeshadow palettes for every makeup job

Powder eyeshadow can be a better choice in many cases.  It comes in many more colours and you can use it dry or with water if you want the colour more intense.  You can mix eyeshadow with cleansing lotion to make coloured eyeliner too. Powder eyeshadow is almost always used with cake or liquid foundation bases.

Blusher and eyeshadow are both what is called pressed powder makeup.
Pressed powder makeup is used for eyeshadow, rouge and blusher as well
as for shading and highlighting. We call it eyeshadow/rouge because we
think many people wouldn’t know what “pressed powder” is.
